Why my (non KWA) mags don't feed?

King Arms STANDARD / Low cap - Excellent fit and feed - mine had a piece of broken spring in it but had worked for a few games anyway? Took it out and it works again.
Classic Army STANDARD / Low cap - Great fit and 98% reliable feed.
* Magpul PTS Pmag fit is Great, feed was perfect until I put in a Prometheus 6,03 barrel. Now it is almost always fine but mis-feeds occasionally.
MAG 120-round plastic Mids - fit Good but 70% did not feed in semi-auto out of the box. I'd have to hold the magazine up. Hate them.
S-Arms metal mid caps - Terrible, tight fit and usually don't feed. Semi-auto totally unreliable.

Pro Arm 130rd M4/M16 Midcap (Labeled at Evike as MAG 130rd mid-caps) - Perfect fit. Poor feeding. When the magazine is full (90-100 rds), it refuses to feed. With 12-16 rounds less, the magazine causes misfeeds, double and triple feeds. After 20-30 less rounds, the rounds will continue to feed without any hop up (even when dialed to the max), until the magazine is empty.
Tests were done with a KWA SR7, KWA SR10, Bioshot .30g bb's and 16 Pro-Arm mid-caps

I recieved four of these used. They dirty so I proceeded to clean them, which is nearly IMPOSSIBLE.
I'd suggest a mag that opens up similar to a clamshell.

The E-Mags remind me of my old TM G36C with plastic bullets inside the smoked shell.
I REALLY want the P-Mags for my new SR7 DEVGRU but I keep reading about having to file "something" down so they fit, drop out of the mag well and feed fine. I've searched all over for a write-up or video and this is the first place that specified "the spine" at the back of the magazine.
Can anyone show me / describe what has to be sanded down for this mag to work?
Is there a difference between the PTS P-Mags and the PTS M-Version P-Mags?
Also, ASGI has the M-Version P-Mags listed as M16 but they should work for the M4 as well right?
Thanks so much guys!

That's an expensive decision. I bought four 120rd FDE Pmags and four 120rd OD Pmags (all with matching Ranger plates) for my SR10 a while back. After I carefully sanded each one down to fit perfectly in my AEG, I decided I didn't want FDE parts on my gun anymore. Now I'm stuck with these uber expensive FDE Pmags that are fitted to a KM4 magwell. These mags are beasts too, they just wont break. Unless I find another KM4 owner who wants FDE mags (or trades me for OD/FG), I'm sure I'll be hanging onto these mags for a LONG time.

I ordered and should be getting a single Magpul M-Version PMag delivered tomorrow.
I'm going to test it out on KM4 SR7 and see how it works.
I've had recommendations from two people to adjust the mag if there are any feeding issues:
-spray non-petroleum silicon spray inside the magazine
-add an additional washer to the inside of the magazine (still haven't seen a M-Verion PMag disassembled yet)
After I compare the KWA metal mag to the M-Version PMags, I'll decide which one to buy more of and stick to that option.

I wouldn't reccommend putting any type of oil or spray in your mags. it sjust collects dirt and will sometimes make them feed worse.

After a long debate I chose to risk buying a Magpul M-Version PMag to test how it fits and fires in my 2 week old KWA KM4 SR7 DEVGRU.
I've been reading a lot of threads where users go back and forth on if different brand PMags fit in their rifles; the results were mixed.
I knew for certain that the Magpul EMags worked based on the majority of users confirming this.
I also didn't want to buy cheap versions of the PMags just to have a PMag style magazine, I wanted the closest thing.
I decided to take a video of how my brand new Magpul M-Version PMag fits and fires in my KWA KM4 SR7 DEVGRU.
This is my first youtube review so go easy on my Blackberry camera and my amazing narrative, lol
PMag M-Version PMag - Fitting in KWA KM4 Series
PMag M Version PMag Shooting in KWA KM4 Series
I know the shooting video is dark and you can't see the white bb's being fired but I'm confirming it 100% without any misfires or empty shots.
I hope this proves that the Magpul M-Version PMags work flawlessly.
