Hello all,
I have a quick question.
I am currently using a 8.4 1400mah NiMH mini type battery pack, and I was wondering
if there is a significant difference in FPS between the 8.4V packs and the 9.6v packs.. or even the 11.1 LiPo packs?
Please tell me if you consider the $50+ is worth it (battery and charger if the smart charger doesnt work).

And if I use a 8.4v 2200 mah NIMH will it last longer than a 1600 mah LiPo?

Theoretically yes.  an 11.1v Lipo will harass your gun much more than an 8.4v NIMH.... but 11.1 lipo is more fun and KWA claims to be "Lipo ready"

i highly recommend the 9.6V batteries because even though 9.6v and 8.4v are the most used and most common...youll find that u enjoy the higher rof as apposed to the 8.4v.

right now im using a 9.6v 2300 mah i bought from evike.com and it is the best battery in the world!!!

my m4 has a very pleasing rof...and the batt last two full days worth of play.

If you want to increase ROF using a 9.4v battery, here are some suggestions:
1) get better wiring for the gun (this willl increase trigger response and make your battery operate more efficently and increase ROF)
2) Get a MOSFET (This can increase your ROF up to 30%) Click HERE to look at some amazing MOSFETS

So if i go full auto with 2 identical guns with unlimited ammo, and if they will both not break down (let's say they were made by KWA   ), one has an 8.4v 3800mah battery and the other has a 11.1v 1600 mah LiPo, which will last longer?

just a simple question, please don't over analize it, thanks!

the MAH setup will last longer but damn are these things BIG!!

Lipos need less space than SUBC batteries.

would I get a better rof out of a 7.4v lipo battery than a 9.6v niHm battery. I never understood that, I thought lipos were supposed to be 11.1v.

I am sorry LiPo batteries, I went with the tried-and-true technology of NiMH batteries. I really didn't want to switch to a smaller mah battery, even if the rof would be better. What matters to me is how long the battery lasts.

So I bought an 8.4v 4500 mah battery (believe it or not) and fit it in an Echo 1 Crane Stock, one of like 3 stocks that will fit sub c batteries.

So yeah, the LiPo batteries will have a higher ROF, but this 4500 mah battery lasts FOREVER!!!

Oh yeah, if you are in a war, if your buddies don't have KWA rifles and can't support LiPos, and their battery runs out, and you have an extra, or if you're dead, you could give them your battery, which is REALLY helpful, because otherwise they would have to give up.

So it is your choise.

Now i was looking for a good lipo battery and i ran across this for 50-60 dollars with charger, now i would like to get the kwa brand one but for 2 times the price this seems more logical of a buy. What im wondering though is will this be alright in my gun?

I don't know the specifications of the handguard of the KM-4, but it should work. You will have to get some connectors

If you are looking for a cheaper LiPo, eHobbyAsia has lots of them. I just ordered the King Arms stick LiPo. Looks pretty good.
