[Cakedogs]

Here be the thread for any custom paint or body finishing done to KWA airsoft weaponry, I'll start.

Here's my best work so far, my KP45 USP Match. Done for my love of the Half Life series (My collection will soon be complete, folks!)
Took around 9 hours total of hand sanding and grindan, but the end result is very rewarding eye candy.


May do more work on it, like a chrome trigger or hammer, not sure yet.

I tell you what, I will be doing something to my new KWA gas weapon once it arrives in the mail and I will indeed post it here first.

My USP is almost complete... i'm going to get a match barrel cut down to 110mm the fit the shooters design threaded barrel and eventually get an ambidextrous lever

it's a shooters design slide and outer barrel, the lower frame is off an old KSC. every internal is a new KP45 NS2. every last pin spring and sear except the control lever. i had replaced the control lever on my compact 45 with ambidextrous one. that is the stock HK selector that works perfect in the KP45 and i prefer the lower profile slimmer lever. I bobbed the hammer myself with a file and sand paper.

here it is compared to my HK USPc .45. That is by far the best finish i've seen on airsoft replica barrel and slide. i went with the KP45 as the KP8 is just a little too small and handling side by side to my HK i'm more comfortable to train/practice/play with the 45. but i will still be picking up a P8 (hopefully umarex licensed now) and probably getting the shooters design kit for it as well.

sanded my kp45 tactials slide down last weekend didnt take as long as cakedogs but i used a wire wheel and it had left some deep scratches but i got em all out and it looks good to bad the gun wont shoot a whole mag lol hopefully i can post pics soon.
