Hey, I recently got a Magpul FPG as a gift and have been playing around with it. The only experience I have with gas guns is a KWA M93RII NS2. So far the gun is pretty awesome, but its FPS seems a little low and inconsistent. Supposedly, the complete FPG should be shooting around 350-360fps out of the box. I've been playing around with it and my chrono and I've only been getting between 300-320fps, with occasional 340s.
Am I missing something? I noticed when I fill the mag, I can hear gas leaking out; with my M93RII mags I don't hear anything and it's shooting around 330-340fps. I'm assuming that's liquid propane going directly into the NS2 mag, but on the FPG mag it's not? Also, I let the mags warm up for about 5 minutes, but I didn't need to let the NS2 mag warm up to get to 330-350fps. I stripped and lubed parts of the gun. Also, I'm running propane with a propane adaptor and silicone spray lube. Could it be something in the FPG or the mag? I have 3 AABB long mags on the way, so hopefully that will help me figure out if the magazine is the problem.
FPS Fps seems low

Where are you applying the spray lube and is your hop up on when you chrono?

As for the leaky mags, your O-rings in the bottom of your mag could have poped out. you can get replacement O-rings at your local ACE Hardware.
I am so sure is not the mag problem...if your friend has a ksc glock 18 ect...try exchanging the FPG slide...you will get a much higher FPS for sure... the longer the inner barrel the higher the FPS that is the basic rule of GBB
