It doesn't seem like mounting the light above the barrel gives you access to any momentary on/off options anyway...

Nope. Which is why you have to use the scoutlight set up.  I run my Carbine and to be honest, I hardly use the integrated light. I prefer to run IR and NV. Due to the barrel shroud of the Vector Carbine, I cant install my IR head above the barrel. So I have to run the light off to the side. Which is fine but not as slick as having it built into the gun.

But then we'd need to buy the rail kit, which i don't think is included on the kwa one....

Yeah, but you can install any light you want on that.  Cheaper than buying a specific SureFire light to insert above the barrel and not have much functionality with.

Im sure a 3rd party will make rails for the KRISS Vector. They do it all the time for other airsoft guns.

For some reason, 70 seems a little to much to me. Id go with something around 50... But I'm not from KWA so

KWA's page for the Vector says 24 and 50.  70 would be great though!

Hmm... Less tacticool?
And besides, people will be using the 2 rd bursts, so 30 rounds is more like 15

What's the point? Make your shots count. Players should aspire to have clear target identification and target acquisition. Then you dont need so many rds. But sadly that is not how they play.

Wow... true words of beauty right there. Unfortunately, airsoft is a game of putting rounds down range- since you carry so much of them- giving you a better chance at getting a kill. When one person is out of rounds in their AEG, and pulls out their pistol- something they haven't used as much, and when you have your KRISS Vector, the gun you've trained and fought with since the beginning of the game, the one with more experience will always win.  :)

No one's stopping you from loading 13 or 30 in a 24/50 rd mag

I'm fine with somewhat higher capacity magazines than the real thing, since airsoft guns are not nearly as accurate or consistent as a real gun.  The extra ammo compensates for this somewhat.

As for spray and pray... I'm not sure anyone does that with a GBB, you're just too limited on ammo.

This is what I love about airsoft. The feeling of being outnumbered 5 to 1, cornered behind a fallen tree or large boulder. 1 mag in your pistol, none in your primary (AEG). The rush of picking them off as they come too close. That feeling is unbelievable. That's why I play.

A gas gun, compared to an AEG, has its disadvantages, but is more realistic and more fun (at least for me) to shoot. When they shoot a stream of bb's past your head with their hose of a gun, you pop out and pop off 1 or 2 round with a gas gun (whether it's a M4, MP9, pistol, etc...) and hit them square in the chest, you feel bad a**. Nothing in airsoft beats that feeling, besides being with friends.

Sorry if I strayed off topic... :rolleyes2:

Well said. The fact that with the limited capacity of Gbb mags (compared to hi cap aegs) and the possibility of running out of gas as well as ammo, no one in their right minds spray with gbbs. Except noobs of course, but I doubt anyone in this forum is a noob. ^^
