The KWA KRISS Vector is undergoing extensive field testing, with production and delivery scheduled towards the end of 2012.

When you say "end of 2012" I assume you mean December?

Also, what's the point of releasing the KRISS during the winter? Nobody can really use it until Q2. They should have either released it this year or waited until Q2 of 2013.

Not necessarily, it could be any part of Q4 or early Q1 2013

Southern California, Texas, Florida......Christmas....better than waiting till next Summer.....just some of the reasons to release if it's ready in the Winter....

True. But everybody in the Midwest and New England will be unable to use it until March/May. College will keep me from using it until June/July should I purchase it for Christmas, and by then the warranty will have expired.

i emailed kwa last year asking about eta because i saw it at shot show on youtube, and they said the 4th quarter of the year. that was in 2011.
but now its 2012, and they obviously have more done, and since they said an estimated summer release, i would expect a late-year release or early 2013 release.

Well that last time rumors of an impending release were circulating about the LM4, it came out a couple weeks later. Evike does have an ETA of 9/12 (though ai don't trust their estimates). Didn't the estimates on KWA Central state a late 3rd quarter release?

Considering they are already working prototypes being tested in videos, unless they find some serious issue I doubt it'll get pushed to 2013.

I'm fairly confident it will come out before the end of this year. I'm guessing that it will get released right before Christmas.
