A photo KWA posted to fb a couple months ago. And for comparison, here's the realsteel:

I would ASSUME that KWA would make a low powered bolt for the Vector just like they are with the MP7, MP9 and LM4 series...
I don't think KWA indicated the targeted FPS for this gun. I know a lot of the NS2 driven guns tend to push over CQB limits, but it is possible to stay CQB friendly (see KZ75).

Not sure I understand the logic here, no matter what the gun is, a higher velocity gun is better for MILSIM, as airsoft guns aren't exactly close in velocity to real firearms.
I am sorry I didn't clarify (I was referring to outdoor field games), the logic is more firearm bullet caliber Vs airsoft bb weight. For the sake of argument, the logic ignores FPS = Distance, but instead assumes FPS = BB Weight, as the closest comparison we can make to bullet calibers is BB weight. With that logic, the higher the FPS, the higher BB weight you can use. As most fields have a upper limit of max of 400 FPS for full auto, with the average recommended BB weight being .25, which typically falls in the domain with rifles that would have their real steel counterparts shooting .223 and 7.62 rounds. The problem I was trying to illustrate was that with the MP9, Mac 11 and other KWA NS2 / FV engine guns shooting 400 FPS and using .25 BBs places them in the domain of "simulation" rifle rounds. I could expand this a little further with card gaming logic and the balance issues it raises, if you wanted

Btw, I agree that the KRISS should shoot 400+, but then again, I think all airsoft guns could use a good deal more FPS. More FPS would significantly enhance the realism of the sport. I think the notion that getting shot in-game isn't a big deal at all (pain-wise) detracts significantly from the enjoyability of the airsoft experience.
