I have finally decided to buy myself one of the M11A1s, and I'd like to get a mock suppressor with it, but I cannot find any info on the thread size. It seems its likely the typical CCW 14mm thread, but I'd like to check before I spend money on one. I plan on purchasing my M11A1 NS2 from Pyramydair.com as I have had good experiences with them in the past, and they sell a few mock suppressors that I was looking at. The main one being the 8.25" JBU suppressor. Will that one (or any of the other ones they sell) work?
On another note, does anybody know where I can find metal upper and lower receivers? I have found a few places that carried the replacements for the KSC M11A1 (which I have read are interchangeable), but they aren't in stock and from what I can tell won't be anytime soon. Unless I can find one fairly inexpensively I don't think I will be buying it right away, but I would like to have a gun that is as much metal as possible eventually.

Here's a barrel extension that works: http://store.kwausa....dadaptor-1.aspx
I don't know the thread size off hand. Regarding the conversion kits, check places like eHobbyAsia, and Tokyo Model Company.

I did discover that it isn't 14mm, but I am still unsure of what exactly it is. I would like one of those PolarStar suppressors, but they are just so pricey. I think I am going to just order the gun and worry about finding a supressor later.
I'll check ehobbyasia and tokyo model for the conversion kits. It looks like the G&P one would be great, but I can't find it in stock anywhere yet.

The real Mac-11 has a 5/8-11 clockwise thread. Probably the same on the KWA one, seems about right, though I dont have any thread gauges here. It is clockwise though..

The Dangerwerx/Danger Werx brand has been making aftermarket KMP9 threaded barrels. You could try and hit him up and see if he has any m11a1 14mm threaded barrels.

The G&P Steel Kit is AMAZING! I bought one for myself for Christmas and the M11 is now my favorite gun ever. The look and feel is unreal, it weighs almost 5 lbs (with the polar star suppressor and a magazine). Its in stock right now at ehobbyasia.
