Hi, my name is DaTigah!

I have a question for all KWA M4 CQB users, yes CQB users.

What Hop Up Bucking (Brand, Type, anything) should I get for the KWA M4 CQB.

Make sure you know it fits inside any barrel. Also, before replying to my question, please assume that I will be using the stock Hop Up System and I do not plan on buying a new Hop Up System. I plan on buying a new bucking only.

Also, if you want tell me what tight bore barrel I should get with the Hop Up Bucking. Do not reply to the post if you will only be talking about inner barrels. I want to focus on talking about Hop Up Buckings for the KWA M4 CQB.

good luck with this as your choice of barrel will effect your choice of bucking even if you are still using the stock hop up.  i plan to change my barrel too and have found out from other KWA users that the barrel and bucking compatability when using the stock hop up is difficult and requires much user finagling and research to make any combos fit.  sorry for run on sentence but i am going through the exact quagmire right now too, so like i said good luck and let me know if you found a combo that fits well with the KWA hop up unit.

Sure, I will notify you if I find anything important. Other than that, I am still open for tons of suggestions so keep them coming! I will not stop looking for an answer until I find one. If there is a KWA Representative looking at this topic right now, PLEASE HELP ME!

Okay. I want to ask anybody (anybody who currently owns and uses a KWA M4 CQB version) and I want to ask if the stock hop up is okay, meaning it works and serves it purpose. It may not be the best but I want to know if it is good enough stock.

Does anyone know how good of a fit a DBC 6.01mm barrel is? cause I am intending on getting one but after reading some of the posts on this forum it makes me a bit unsure if I should get it, cause if it doesnt work then theres $50 out the window

hey allizard what Systema bucking will work with that prometheus barrel?  i want to get a prometheus barrel and if i can coax the systema bucking to work with silicone lube i will get it so which Systema bucking is it that you said works even if a lttle bit tight?  thanks dude.

and this should work for the m4 s too?  i failed to notice that this was a question for the CQB and not the M4S that i have but i am thinking the fit should be the same as i am sure the hop up unit is identical.

Correct me if Im wrong, but the only difference between the CQB and M4S or M4A1 is the cylinder type and Barrel design, a hopup bucking should work for both, if Im correct

The BEST FIT TB Barrel and Bucking combo is a Guarder + Firefly.   Unfortunately both of these items are little hard to find.

Other options is a Prometheus barrel + Systema bucking.  It's a little tight but it will work.  

Madbull Barrel also work with Systema bucking but it's a much tighter fit and will need to but a cut a little bit off on the rubber.  

I'm trying to locate a TM bucking right now.  if anyone know where I can buy one please let me know.

Also wat length is the barrel?
Also, which Firefly bucking type should i get: Soft or Hard? (I am sticking to the stock KWA m120/400fps spring)

Also its hard to find a Guarder Barrel, which other barrel might work with a firefly.?

Yea sorry thats my fault. Anyways I found out that the inner barrel is about 393mm.

What 6.03mm (NOT 6.01mm)barrel besides a Guarder Brand would fit with the Firefly Bucking on the Stock Hop Up Unit.?

Also which Firefly Bucking should  i get, soft or hard.?

How about a MadBull Tight Bore Ver 2 with a Firefly Bucking? Hmm? Would that work with the stock hop up system/chamber?

IF NOT, will the Firefly bucking work with the stock KWA Inner Barrel and System?

Thats prob why they call it "Madbull" becuase they are bull barrels. (larger outer diameter)

Okay.... Can I just by a Firefly Bucking (soft) and install it on the STOCK inner barrel and the STOCK HOP UP UNIT??
