I just installed a new AWS mosfet inside my SR10 and I'm looking for connectors to connect the wires from the mosfet to the re settable fuse.  I'm doing this because when you take apart the SR10 to get access to the gearbox, you have to cut/desolder the connection.  This is because the fuse doesn't fit through the small hole in the stock.  I was looking for some female to male connectors that I saw in a video, but forgot what they were called.  They almost looked like spade connectors but insulated all around and a better fit.  There was both a male and female and they were very flat.  And also would buying heatshrink on ebay be my best bet?  Thanks.

Why not use small bullet connectors? Regarding shrink wrap, go to Ace, Home Depot, or Lowe's.  That's what I do...

Here's a link to bullet connectors: http://www.rcdude.co...nnectors/Detail

Just what I needed!  How do I solder the wire onto these connectors?

There is a well at the end of those connectors and while heating the bullet connectors place some solder in the well and it will melt. Then while the solder is in liquid state stick the wire in the well then let cool. Finally add some heat shrink and you are done.

If you would like more info, search YouTube.  There are tutorials on what Niko described.  Here's a trick.  Drill some holes in a block of wood to hold the pin connector while soldering.  It makes the task much easier.

Or some alligator clips on a "helping hand" device.
