Been looking around for mock suppressors and I like the QD feature of the officially-licensed mock suppressor for the MP7.

I asked on the chat about this as well and I was shown the MIC MP7A1 [barrel extension] from ebaybanned.

Besides the trademarks, are these 2 suppressors practically identical?
Anyone gots first-hand experience with either?
Also, I can almost buy 3 MICs for the price of 1 VFC. That's what I've been reconsidering.

Thanks

I can almost assure you that the VFC is better quality, but for $25 that is a risk I'd be willing to take.

Try going to ehobbyasia.com and searching mp7. Some barrel extensions may pop up.

I think the MP7 is one of the only guns I would put a barrel extension on for looks. I do actually really like the look of that VFC one, I also like that 6mm sticker...

6mm sticker is removable to find the real traders underneath. The sticker is placed so the barrel extensions can pass through US Customs.

From what I've read, you can actually remove the Umarex Paragraphs with just soap and water. The only thing I don't like about the cheaper version is that it doesn't have the HK logo. This may not be that big of a deal for most people but for me it'll drive me crazy.

Considering the price of the VFC you may want to consider the Angrygun QD Powerup Suppressor. Not only does it extend your barrel which from my experience has given extra range and supposedly extra FPS, but if you want to you can even remove the inner barrel and make it into a plain old mock suppressor. It also has full trademarks, just not licensed unfortunately.

Yes yes I know. Im surprised customs doesn't make them make put 6mm in permanent lettering.

I'm considering a new MP7 with a mock supporessor. The VFC seems to be widely considered one of the best choices. But you bring up the Angry Gun version, and when I look at that on the sales sites, it basically looks exactly like the VFC one. What are the primary advantages or differences between one and the other?

Thanks!

Also. It seems that one of the only places that has the VFC Mock Suppressor is eHobbyAsia. Anyone do business with them? Are they good about getting shipments out on time, and all that?

Ehobby is a good place. They don't always get stuff out too quickly or update your order information too quickly though. Also remember its in Asia so it'll take a while...

Thanks, and yeah, I realize they are across the Pacific. Have you bought from them? Do you recall the approximate amount of time it took to finally receive your order?

Let me add another variable to this. Evike has this: http://www.evike.com...oducts_id=35722

Other than the trades (which I couldn't care less about), this one also looks like it's identical to the other two I referenced above. Anyone know what the story is with these similar products?

Thanks.

It all depends on which shipping option you use, if you use the express shipping then they process your order and send it out really quick. All of my orders took about 5-6 days to get to me from the date of order.

That's pretty good. I guess small individual orders are able to zip through customs. I know customs can really hang up the retailers when they order in the quantities they do from their distributors.

Just an update on my original post. We have received the VFC barrel extensions from ehobby. Chose the express ship option and it got to us in 5 days, from Asia to New Hampshire.

We are very happy with the purchase. It certainly made the MP7 look tacticool. Will post pics up of our setup later today.

I have the VFC one as well. Looks nice and quality is good. However, I hate it. It's not a very tight fit and droops slightly, making it impossible to fire without hitting the end of it with the bb.
