RS Troy Industries Drop in Battle Rail for CAR15/M4 - very tight, and hard to put in, but it is possible!! Very sturdy.

Yes but both are compatible with airsoft guns. Magpul PTS parts are compatible with firearms as well but I definitely would not recommend using them on one. You'd most likely injure yourself heh.

My clone Magpul CTR fits, but does not lock into the first position (is this normal?) It's also slightly more wobbly than the OEM stock (which hardly wobbled at all surprisingly).

Magpul USA MOE Grip (Read the notes below)

• It was a tight fit and as you can see in the image below it still left a slight gap on the top that might bother some people. That said, it doesn't wobble at all and is very sturdy.
  
• The grip came with a different sized screw compared to the LM4 one (the LM4 uses a thinner screw that's metric-based as opposed to the new screw which I believe is imperial units).
  
• The second picture shows how the holes in the grip were made for a larger screw. To avoid the risk of tightening the original screw right through the hole I used a #10 washer from Home Depot and it works perfectly.

I hope the fact that you need a washer doesn't void its compatibility in this thread =\.

ERGO Grip Fit but no go on Gapper it would not fit even after sanding it down.

Any reason as to why the Magpul USA MOE grip isn't fitting properly? Is the tail of the grip the problem? I'd rather not have that gap when I get mine...

Orange used a washer in between the grip screw hole and the screw itself because the hole is almost the same size as the screw head. You wouldn't want to tighten right through the hole or have it break off with pressure, would you? If you don't want the gap, get a screw of the same size but with a larger head.

I meant the gap between the receiver and the grip, not the screw head size difference or the use of the washer (which I'm perfectly fine with). Sorry if I caused confusion.

I just took off the grip again to see if I can answer your question. It seems like the part of the beaver tail is causing the problem:



There's a light mark (the macro lens exaggerates it a bit), so it seems like it's pushing up against the lower receiver. The difference is probably about 1 millimeter or less.

For what it's worth, here's a gap size comparison between the stock grip and the MOE grip:




The shadows make it difficult to tell for sure, but there is a difference. It's not much of a problem for me but it might be an issue for you. Hope that helps!

My LM4 is on the way, should be here within the week, but I have all real steel Magpul parts for it along with a badbul omega R.I.S.  So as soon as everything arrives, I will post some pictures.
