Like the topic says, I can't figure out how to get the sight off.  Are the pins glued inside the sight post? I want to put on my SR-12 rails for the time being.

You will need to use punches to punch out the roll pins, take off the flash hider, use an AR wrench to take off the delta ring and install the free float delta ring, then attach the free float ris. You may also need a gas block so you keep your gas tube in place. Haven't tried it, but I'm sure this is the process.

I hit the pins pretty hard but I just don't want to break it.  I don't know if there's anything special about it or not.

Roll pins only come out one way. Are you sure you're knocking them out the right way?

No, I'm not sure. Lol. Which side do I hit the ones for the sight post from?
