So I've had my mp9 for a little over 2 months now. It was working fine, but recently when I tried putting gas in the mag, it only took it in for about 5 seconds and then the gas just doesn't go in. I can only get about 10 shots out of it so it's really annoying. I'm pretty sure it's a magazine problem but I'm not 100% sure.

Welcome to the forums mike. Can you check the gas charging valve and see if you still have your little black o ring around the charging valve?

Have you tried using a new can of gas?

First try bid's suggestion. Try a different green gas canister. If you get the same results it may be a faulty charging valve which is a cheap and easy fix.

Yes, replacing the o-ring should defiantly fix the problem, I was getting this issue myself no more than a week ago. So I just Opened the mag and cleaned all the parts and the channel. Then I touched it up with some silicone, put it back together, then put in the o-ring in and the magazine worked like new. Two mags-worth of gas per fill on semi, and 1 and 1/2 on automatic. Although your results may not be exactly the same.

I usually put a drop of oil into the fill port before gassing. I then spin the gas can around the fill port to be sure it is centered. This should prevent you from tearing you o-ring.
If you are not sure there is gas in your mag you can press the release port to check it , like the guy does at the end of the video above.
Peace

Also, KWA advises against pushing too hard down on your fill port. I've experienced during my early days of owning my M9, that an o ring would tear if I put an obsessively over forced amount weight down onto the gas fill valve while filling it with my green gas can. That will lead to tearing the o ring as well. So just became not to push down too hard when gassing up your mags.
