Will the M1911 MK I PTP accept real steel grips like Aluma grips?

Did anyone ever answer this question? I run Alumagrips on my Government Model and Kobra Carry and would like to replicate them in airsoft.

Kobra.....Carry....... You are my new favorite forum user.... We have to sit and chat about your Ed Brown experience. I don't know whether alumagrips can fit, but if my friend put pachmyr grips on his, I don't see why alumagrips won't fit. But yes, I'll pm you and you have to tell me about the kobra carry.
