I am looking into buying a LM4 from KWA. are these any parts that should be replaced before use? If there are, can I purchase these directly from KWA, or do I need to find a different company

Welcome to the forum. There are no parts that must be replaced in the KWA LM4, but it is highly recommended that before you begin using your gun, you clean and lubricate it properly to ensure a long life. Any replacement parts that need to be purchased should be available to be purchased through KWA later down the road.

There's two things you're going to want.  One of them is an airsoft valve key, like these ones: http://www.airsoftgi...=0&inc_subcat=1

The next thing you want is an extra O-Ring (or a few) to replace your piston O-Ring if it goes bad.  These two O-Rings where recommended

35/64" x 23/32" x 3/32" hnbr (hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber)
