Hey all, I just got in some of the new genuine Magpul PTS 300 round highcaps to supplement my 120 rounders that make up the bulk of my load out and I'm having some problems with them. Firstly, they are extremely tight in the magwell. Some sanding along all sides was necessary, though really only to the depth of the "textured" coating. They now fit extremely well and lock in positively. My next problem however is that although they feed flawlessly, (and I mean it, not a round missed and the winding wheel is super smooth and easy to operate. I. wish all highcaps worked this well) my range is massively diminished. Bbs are dropping at 75 feet with full hop. To me this seems like an air seal problem. Anyone have any recommendations? Any success with building up the feed nozzle on top of the mag? I would really like rouse these mags in my kit as they are amazing otherwise, and were fairly expensive. Thanks.

Does the range drop only with these and the go back up with your stock mag or the 120 rd mags you use?

Yep, correction, licensed by king arms pts hi caps. Only happens with these mags, pmag 30s work fine, as do my kwa and tm highcaps.
