I run 6 as of now and wanting just one more.  I feel like this is very adequate and i haven't ever used all six in a game before I had to respawn, maybe that tells more of my skill than ammo capacity ...

I've been running 8 but I run into major mobility issues after there are 2+ empties my my drop pouch. They are so heavy that I am afraid of moving to quickly, else my mags may drop from the pouch. I may need need to rethink this.

My 6 total has worked out for me (5+1) and I carry two pistol loaders (160bbs) and one KWA loder.

I have a total of 6 mags. Haven't run out of ammo yet. But i am using much less as I only fire when I know I can hit them. I have one leaking magazine right now so I guess Im running with 5 this weekend.

I also carry a king arms loader and a bag of bbs. But I rarely Have to refill the loader.

I run 8 - when empty i put in dump pouch and reload. then when i get a moment - i pull out of dump pouch and return mag pouch on chest rig, but put upside down. That way my dump pouch is empty for the next, and dont way 3,000 pounds

wow....am I the only one that runs 3-4 mags.  I've never found myself out gunned or anything either.  I played at the last Army Birthday game and I was up there with the rest of them.  Granted I just had to transition to my pistol more often, however, it makes running with my pistol so much more important.  Mobility is the most important factor for me, because it lets me sneak around and out run my opposition.  Speed loaders are lighter and cheaper to carry too haha

I only have 3, I feel so inadequate.  Yes, I almost always run out and end up using my pistol to survive lol

Damn PMAGs are so expensive and no one has the LM4 mags in stock right now.

3?!  You poor guy...we should start a mag fund in your name!

I run 5, play 5-6 hour ops straight never had to refill.  Though I carry like 5-8 bbs in my pocket incase I get bored and shoot at randomn things.

I run three mags as well. Don't feel alone darkbluedean! I feel your pain. I can make due with 3 mags though, as I usually am forced to play short cqb games vs long outside day games.

I might just buy some PMAGs at Airsoft GI, they still have some. LA Wings don't have them nor the GI mags on their website.

You guys are weak....

My true combat load overseas was in the 95+lb range.

The mags are heavy I give you that.... nothing that gives me anxiety when loading my vest tho.....
Noticed the pmags are doing well for me, anyone have seperate issues with them!?

Besides my lil accident with one, I guess they're fine.  KWA is nice enough to repair it for me.

I could be wrong, but I think he is referring mainly to the dump/drop pouch issue. Dump pouches aren't meant to hold 5-6 fully loaded ar15 mags. Which is what it feels like carrying 'empty' lm4 mags in it. It's just awkward for me.
