I am currently selling off a bunch of my extra toys and gadgets and even my current M4 to get this new rifle. KWA makes a darn good weapon and with the new CQR series Im expecting that quality to be there. However Its so new I cant find anyone who has posted a review of how well it handles in combat. Im sure it does ok, but how does that polymer hold up? does it flex? creak? how solid is the butt stock connection? How well does it shoot at distance? I would just like to see a well rounded review that does more than tell me how fast it shoots.

I had my hands on both the MOD 2 and the M4A1 and i felt the M4 was better. If anything happened like you hit a wall to hard of drop the gun the polymer could break much easier then the metal body, but that is my opinion. I believe it is worth the extra $100 for peace of mind. If you are very careful then the CQR is good. As for the performance. They are the same inside. only the cylinder is different with the porting so it shoots closer to 350 FPS. If you can go feel both at a store.

I recently took my CQR mod2 out to battle yesterday and let me say it handles very well. It feels very solid and you cant even tell the lower receiver is polymer there is no flex at all. The only problem is that with my gun the charging handle does not work so i can not acess my hop up unless i open the gun up. But if that problem Rwasnt there it would be a 10 out of 10 in my book. Not just because of the price but because of its great performance. Oh and i play field and the range was pretty good aswell as the rate of fire.

I recently bought a Cqr Mod2 from Evike .. It's pretty damn solid. Except for the slight hand guard and stock wiggle. My only issue is that my accuracy isn't very good at 125ft.. The bbs start to drop at about 100ft.. But, the rof is amazing with my 9.6v 1600mah.. I had to break out the little tab on the inside of the bottom hand guard to get the 9.6 to fit tho..

I just received mine last night and it is not shooting. The bbs roll out of the barrel, and occasionally one will shoot. I tried the mag that came with, a G&G hicap, G&G midcap, MAG midcap, MAG Vietnam midcap, and JG hicap. I turned the hopup all the way off, slowly turned it up. Still didn't shoot. Also the fake bolt sometimes sticks so that I can't adjust the hopup. I know I read that some others were having the same problem. I'm looking at returning it to Evike due to the problems I'm having.

Try cleaning the inner barrel and bucking to see if that sorts out your range and accuracy issue.

Sorry to hear that... the only thing that I can think off top of my head is the same thing. The barrel and hop up bucking could be a bit greasy and needs to be cleaned.

try reseating the barrel and hop up, and bucking.
it may just need to be adjusted a bit.  this happened to one of my guns and it turned out that the lip of the bucking was catching a bit, but when I took it all out and reseated everything it was perfect.

Have a look at the feed ramp.  Look under the nozzle and see it there is any polymer flash in the hole that needs to be cleaned out.  I ran into this problem this weekend with a CQR and that was the fix that Allizard recommended when I spoke with him.

I tried everything suggested and put it back together and ran a mag through it and it shot flawlessly. I decided to reload and run another mag through and it went back to the same old problem. I have a blue madbull bucking that I was thinking of popping in there tonight after work to see if that makes any difference. Otherwise I will just return it for another as long as Evike doesn't jerk me around.

The only problem is that with my gun the charging handle does not work

I got my CQR a week ago and was having the same problem. What you have to do is you have push the pin that is holding the dust cover to the upper receiver back until your hear a click. Then it should work.

As for the video review you're looking for, just search around on YouTube, although you might have to search around to find all the information you want (i.e, chrono, ROF, feel, etc.)

I just got mine and I have to say I love it. It feels great, there's no wobble on the gun itself and the whole things feels like one solid, dependable piece. It's shooting about 330 FPS with .2's which is perfect for the field I play at. The stock is solid as well. My only two complaints are the charging handle issue everyone is having (which can be fixed) and that the bottom piece of the handguard has two nubs inside that would prevent you from using a larger battery. I was unable to use a 9.6 and had to get a 7.4 LiPo.

i just got mine today and it is absolutely the best dollar to performance ratio out there, i mean for $190, you cant beat it!!! at first i had problems with the barrel getting clogged and bb's just rolling out the barrel or shooting 2 or more at a time on semi, but then i just cleaned the bucking as best as i could and it works great. alot more accuracy than you would expect from a cqb gun! good ROF with 11.1 lipo. the polymer lower isnt that big of a deal. its very sturdy and seems durable. i will say that the handguard has a slight amount of wobble but it shouldnt't keep you from buying this. overall, its a great gun.
