Hello, I'm new to thei board as well as new to airsoft so forgive my ignorance...
This is my first pistol and I can't seem to figure out the disassembly? I am following the instruction manuel and a couple of vids online but cannot seem to get the slide to slide forward after the pin is removed?? I just don't get it? the pin is out and I've pulled it back then pushed it forward and it stops as if the pin is still in??
So far this has been my experience..
Got it 2 days ago from online store and have had a few of the issues with it that others have mentioned and I am trying to get into it to apply some silicone to the slide.
It sounds like a zipper when I pull the slide back and feels a little frictiony.
The slide after pulled back sometimes advances only to the point that you line up to pull the disassembly pin unless you persuade it to go forward.
I have shot maybe 2 clips worth of .25 KWA bbs through it and it catches after a few shots requiring me to re-pull slide to continue.
The worst part is the first thing I did was thread a suppressor on it to cover up the orange bit... Which I would not recomend! On its maiden voyage in a CQB game someone busted through a door and it bumped the tip of the suppressor which upon lowering the gun it and the orange tip dropped right out of the end and chipping the tip of the barrel. The only thing holding the chip on it the rubber o-ring. I can't even get the orange bit out of the extention to glue it back in as i think when it hit the ground it jammed into it... sigh
Any help would be appriciated. I called customer support and was trying to get a replacement barrel but they seemed a wierd, needing a bunch of pics and stuff... apearently they will get back to me. Then a few minuted ago I was looking at the manuel trying to get the blasted thing apart an read if you remove the orange part then the warrenty is void!! Then relized thats probably why they wanted pics, and now I'm terrified my first gun will be a very expensive bust...
so far not impressed.

Yeah when I first disassembled my hk45 I was confused as to why it wasnt coming apart, I gave it just a little force and it came right off.

Same here. It can be a nervous moment though. Giving your new gun a good yank never seems or feels right. But it won't do anything. You are good to go.

What problems are you experiencing with your HK45 that requires you to open it up?

The slide will function smoother as you wear the gun in. Just make sure to clean and lube the slide rails on the slide and the lower frame very well.

If you are just doing a basic take down this video should help. http://kwausa.com/co.../hk45-takedown/

Yes typically it just takes a descent pull to get it off. Just remember not to hit it with anything. Also, just by chance, did you remember to remove the magazine before trying to remove the slide?

Make sure the Magazine is out. I've notice you didn't give mention to this in your sequence of operation.
