Ok. I recently bought the gun from Evike SuperStore in person.. I also bought a 9.6v 1600 MaH battery with the gun.. The Rof sounds amazing and the response is Godly! But, the range isn't good AT ALL. Seems like the bbs are just dropping out of the barrel.. And a lot of misfeeds to. So I took out the barrel and I was gonna clean the barrel but my hopup nubs never go flush with the barrel at the lowest setting.. I'm not sure if it's supposed to do that on the 2GX Hopups.
I just need to get the gun working perfectly for the night game coming up

it is a CQB gun, its gonna have low fps under 340 or 330 and the range should be less than 150 feet so its just normal, now if your getting like 75 feet than thats different, go measure 100 feet and see how well you do, and if your looking for field or outdoor play, thats not the gun.

In a nutshell, KWA's have a break in period where the gearbox will expel excess grease into the hop and barrel over the first 3-5000 shots. During this time you should clean the hop and barrel a few times. The grease can cause the hop up to be ineffective because it decreases the spin placed on the BB. There are a number of threads in the AEG Technical Forum under KM4/KM16/CQR. Read through the threads especially the ones that are pinned and deal with cleaning the hop and bucking. Further, don't use silicon oil as a cleaner and keep it away from the bucking since it will cause the bucking to swell and cause misfeeds and other issues.
The nubs do protrude a little even when the hop is fully disengaged. The best way to clean it and the barrel is to disassemble them. There are threads illustrating that as well. Plenty of good information on these forums. You just have to have the patience to look and read. Good luck.

Let's get this straight...is it mis-feeding or are the BB's falling off at 60-70ft? They are two very different potential issues.

I would take a look at the feed ramp to see if there is any plastic "flash" from the molding process that's blocking the lower feed ramp's hole. Note: it doesn't take much to give you problems. If that's the case it's an easy fix to clean it out. If that helps the feeding issue and the BB's are still falling try cleaning the bucking. There may be gear grease on the bucking which is preventing hop-up.
