6.02 should improve your accuracy.
What barrels are you looking at?

Does the barrel really have to be from GI?
I highly recommend the KWA SR7 barrel.

Agreed, but can you please expand on your reason for barrel and being stuck on gi.  There shipping Is crazy.  Kwa is free with 30 order, which us the cost of the barrel.

I don't see the stock barrel listed on the pro shop, but if you call up KWA I'm sure they can help you out.

What inner barrel do you guys recommend that I could find  on airsoft gi
hmm.. well madbulls arn't bad, but they weren't better than my sr-7 stock barrel so i switched back.
I'm not good with picking barrels, but i would seriously look for a kwa sr-7 one in the pro shop.

No. It should slide right in. Just be careful when you take the barrrel out, not to lose the nub.

Sr7 stock barrel. They are amazing.  And many are actually 6.02 barrels.  They are 30 from kwa but you can pick them up for much less through Craigslist or other ways. I didn't think to ask.  What is your reason to put a 6.01 in?   From my experience, which can differ from others, in a tight setting where your engaging at 100 ft or less, a 6.01 isn't going to be a dramatic change.  Vanevery has had good luck with these but as stated above most have compression issues with madbull barrels in kwas.  You can spend a lot less and get better performance through hop up mods, but if your looking for simple change out a stock Sr7 barrel is a solid purchase.  Also kwa barrels get better the more you shoot them.
I will admit I am simply nit a fan of 6.01 barrels because I have never found one that performed so well that I was blown away.  I have also not tried the km head barrels either, but I can't justify spending 80 or more on a barrel.
With rhops in all my guns, 6.01 do not function well.

you say the SR7 barrel are 6.02, but i just look at the spec. and it said 6.05mm

The spec says that because not all of them are as tight as 6.02. KWA cant claim something that isnt fully true, so they put 6.05 because some barrels may be 6.05. I believe its because some of them come from a different factory, and are manufactured with different machines, some not as precise as the others. Most of the barrels are known to be tighter than 6.05, but its not guaranteed.
Either way even if you did get a 6.05 barrel (which you won't), youd still probably see a improvement from the stock CQR barrel

That is one of the reasons why many don't see much improvements in grouping when they swap out a stock SR barrel for a 6.01-6.03tbb because many of the stock SR barrels are already as tight as 6.02 eventhough KWA advertises as 6.05.

I just look at the length of the KM4 CQB Inner Barrel (273 mm) and its the same as the MOD 2. Anyone know if it is better than the stock inner barrel of the MOD 2?
