Ditto. I'd buy a one piece. And if it were a licensed M.U.R. I'd die.

The trademarks are just the icing on the cake. But boy do I love my icing ... sweet delicious icing.

Vltor has no intention of ever licensing the MUR and VIS designs. Trademarked or not, the external design itself is copyrighted and doing an upper receiver that looks the same without trademarks is still infringing on Vltor's tradedress. Before someone brings up Madbull's Noveske MURs ... those were created via the Noveske license ... but without the agreement of Vltor and is a touchy subject with the owner of Vltor. They were never approved by Vltor ... but that said Vltor has never made any move to send a C&D (to my knowledge).

I'd be perfectly fine with a one piece GI style AR15 upper receiver.

Personally I dont care who or what trademarks are on it, Vltor would be pretty cool, but I agree with uscmCorps on the upper receiver. The GI would be good enough. Maybe KWA could make it as an aftermarket part, sounds like there would be quite a few people that would purchase it, myself included.

If you install a free float correctly, I don't see why you would have any wobble. My brother builds AR's and helped me put a Samson Evolution Series 10" on. Looks fantastic, and is solid as real steel. Barrel nut threads were re-threaded I think, so no going back once you have committed. Pics on my Facebook.

Many of us have ff rails on our lm4...and still have upper receiver rail wobble. Simply putting on a ff will not fix the problem nor prevent it. What ive done to kind of live with the wobble is mount my T1 so it straddles the upper rail and ff rail. 1/4 on ff and 3/4 on upper rail. Works great.

I guess that could fix it but its just a patch. I still would like to buy a one piece Upper, Just keep part 27 a slip in piece to cut down on the manufacturing cost.

I did the rail fix last night and my rail wobble is almost non existant, its still there unfortunately but you now have to apply some force to make it move just a little.
