I use a SR 10 and I am very happy with it and have really liked using it , I purchased a KWA m4 a1 a few weeks back and have slowly been using it more and more and have even been thinking of seting it up as my CQB if I do not get a Mod 2 soon . My question is on the barrel the inerbarrel of the m4 a1 , I know its shorter than the sr 10 but it just seems to be of lesser quality to me . My sr 10 is very consistent out to close to 150 maybe 200 give or take and depending on the wind .My m4 ai just seems to have problems holding a group togther at even 100 , I do not think I have shoot enough to completly break in the gun and I am working on it and before I go to getting another barrel or trying in mods right off the bat I was going to try the bucking cleaning video and give my kwa the chance to get properly set up and cleaned .I just wondered if I was expecting to much from the factory m4 a1 barrel or should I just stop being cheap and grab a barrel when and if I down grade my spring , or just wait it out a bit longer . Again I always appreciate the help thanks all .

The M4A1 OEM barrel is made in Taiwan.  The SR series barrels are Japanese and are of superior quality.  This explains the variances you are seeing in shot groupings. I have the M4A1 and use it as my primary field gun. I recommend looking for an upgraded barrel such as the KM Head 6.02 available in the Pro-Shop.  This is the Barrel I use and it is quite, quite nice! See here: http://store.kwausa....arrel395mm.aspx

Feel free to go ahead and clean your hop up and inner barrel unit, to make sure no oils or dirt have made their way into that. If you still aren't getting the range and accuracy that you accepted, I would go ahead and get that inner that Gcw has recommended.

Your stock 395mm inner barrel is awesome.
It is the best m4 length inner barrel out there in my opinion.

What you need is a bucking that is made for the m120 spring that your gun has.
You need a standard bucking with a standard mound, and the rubber to be a little bit thick: 60 degree max.
I always pimp the G&G Green bucking because its performance in my KWA guns with stock or after market barrels is unmatched, to date.
This will immediately improve your guns accuracy and range.

It is hard to get in the KWA hop-up unit.
Get some 30wt RC/Shock oil from any Hobby Shop and it will go in in seconds.

During break-in period, you have to clean the bucking, barrel and hopup regularly.  When new guns will shoot out excess gear grease through the nozzle and can really gunk up the works.

Thankyou guys I feel a lot better hearing the barrels are made to diffrent standerds and in two locations . I am going to clean my barrel/bucking and keep shoting it in and just keep after it , I think I will upgrade the barrel soon maybe try some buckings I have had really good results from my sr 10 barrel with kwa bucking I hate to change much I even thought of getting a sr 10 barrel and cutting it down . Again thanks for the help .
